I must be getting to a certain age where I find myself looking back more than forward. Fortunately looking back only has good memories. I was part of the last year grammar intake. I would be pleased to dig up other memories with those who were there. Now living in Cambridge.

Once again I seem to have been dropped from the OGA members book (I have "joined" at least twice; at least I think I joined at least twice!?).
I did make contact with several past school mates, so I guess must have done so.
After leaving Godalming, I got into computing and have been in the industry ever since.
Left the UK in 1987 with wife and 2 daughters, to make our home in New Zealand. Now have 5 grand children and a motor bike (SV1000S).
Currently working for Hewlett-Packard in Wellington.

The (happy) memories come flooding back when I look at the school photograph for 1960 and see those still-familiar faces.

In retrospect my time at Godalming Grammar was a very happy one. Whilst I was there Rock 'n Roll and girls changed my life forever, along with some excellent teaching (thank you, Mrs Burns).

Would love to hear from anyone who remembers me.

My time at Godalming Grammar was a formative experience. I loved every minute (well, nearly...) and I still remember the teachers who helped shape me: Mrs Burns, Mr (Major) May, Mr Needham. In those days getting to the grammar school was a big deal. It was my route out of the ghetto. I am grateful.

Hi, does anyone have an address for Liz Powe who was in the last year of the Grammar School before it turned into a sixth form college? I've lost my address book! Thanks.

I have fond memories of Godalming. Many of the friends I made became lifelong friendships and undoubtedly have enriched my life. I am looking forward to the reunion on 17th July, when many of the names from the past will once again come alive!
